Person fatally struck by two trains near Princeton Junction station – MidJersey.News

WEST WINDSOR, NJ (MERCER)–At approximately 9:26 a.m., Northeast Corridor train 3825, which departed Penn Station New York at 8:12 a.m. and was scheduled to arrive in Trenton at 9:48 a.m., struck a pedestrian west of Princeton Junction Station, according to a New Jersey Transit spokesperson. The pedestrian was also struck by an Amtrak train at the same location. The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries. The 180 passengers and conductors aboard train 3825 were not injured. Northeast Corridor train service was suspended in both directions between Princeton Junction and Trenton, but has resumed. Local law enforcement is leading the investigation.
