Celebrity developer offers chic Florida home for .85 million

Los Angeles-based developer Meir Kroll, founder of Always Construction, Inc., is known for designing and building homes for elite athletes, including NBA stars Ben Simmons and Trae Young, sports agent Rich Paul, and MLS player Javier Hernandez.

Now, he’s unveiling his very first project outside of Los Angeles in Boca Raton, Florida. Villa Mallorca, a modern mansion inspired by Balearic and Mediterranean architecture, is being offered for $6.85 million by brokers Senada Adžem and Brian Ross of Douglas Elliman. To create his very first project in Florida, he collaborated with renowned Spanish architect Jorge Biblioni Studio. The home blends modern European style with the tropical elegance found throughout South Florida. Spanning 6,504 square feet, the home features five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and a powder room. Built with minimalist aesthetics and natural materials, the home features timeless and organic design elements and materials, including walnut and ipe wood walls and finishes, imported Spanish travertine stone floors, and clay.

“We chose the Spanish Revival style for our latest project because Boca Raton has a rich architectural history,” says Meir Kroll Forbes“Architect Addison Mizner originally introduced the Mediterranean style to the area, setting a theme that characterizes Palm Beach County and perfectly complements the subtropical climate and lush natural landscape. Our goal was to create something that was not only modern and fresh, but also timeless. To realize this vision, we enlisted the architectural expertise of Jorge Bibiloni of Mallorca, Spain.”

Kroll praises Biblioni’s innovative use of natural stone and exotic woods, which can be seen throughout Villa Mallorca. The home places an emphasis on indoor-outdoor living, with open-plan living areas flooded with natural light thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows that line nearly every room. Mood lighting, soft lines, high ceilings and a neutral color palette make the home feel particularly spacious and bright.

The home features a spacious kitchen equipped with a kosher fitment and state-of-the-art appliances from Thermador, Gaggenau and Bosch. The kitchen overlooks the golf course and lakefront and has direct access to the outdoor area. Outside there is a long swimming pool, covered patio and plenty of lawn space right in front of the lake. The second floor is where most of the bedrooms are located, including the oversized primary suite. The primary bedroom is connected to two generous walk-in closets and a separate formal living room. Fantastic views await from the private patio. The home is conveniently located near downtown Boca Raton, which ranges from beaches and parks to fine dining, shopping and entertainment.

“We chose the Boca Grove Golf and Tennis community for many reasons, including the beautifully maintained streets, the privacy and exclusivity offered by a 24-hour guarded gate and gated grounds, and the exceptional amenities,” says Kroll. “These include a world-class golf course, tennis courts, a state-of-the-art aquatic and fitness center, and a luxurious clubhouse.”

Although Kroll now lives in South Florida with his family, he will continue to develop real estate in LA and throughout South Florida, particularly along the Intracoastal Waterway and on the coast.
