SLC develops hangar areas

Salt Lake City International Airport and Sky Harbour Group Corporation plan to build a hangar campus for the Sky Harbour Home Base

The campus will be located on 8.4 acres at the Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) and will serve Salt Lake City and the Rocky Mountain region. The companies said it will provide “the best home base for business aviation.”

The new facility will be used for Rocky Mountains The best corporate and private jets in the region in state-of-the-art hangars, with Regular services exclusively for resident tenants and offers “the shortest time to get into Business Aviation.” The campus is expected to create or retain hundreds of local jobs and provide significant economic benefits to the State of UtahSalt Lake City and Salt Lake City International Airport.

“Sky Harbour will not only significantly enhance the SLC International Airport campus, but will also benefit the city, state and region,” said Bill WyattExecutive Director of the Salt Lake City Airport Authority. “We look forward to working with Sky Harbor to expand SLC’s business aviation industry.”

The Salt Lake City International Airport campus is part of the Sky Harbour campuses currently operating in Houston. Sugar Land Regional Airport (SGR)Nashville International Airport (BNA), Miami Opa-Locka Executive Airport (OPF), and San Jose Mineta International Airport (SJC); campuses under development at Denver Centennial Airport (APA), Phoenix Deer Valley Airport (DVT), Dallas Addison Airport (ADS), Chicago Executive Airport (PWK), Bradley International Airport (BDL), Hudson Valley Regional Airport (POU), Orlando Executive Airport (ORL), Dulles International Airport (IAD), and New York Stewart International Airport (SWF); and additional campuses to be announced soon.
