Ben Affleck had a big smile on his face after his reunion with Jennifer Lopez.
The 51-year-old “Gone Girl” star was in high spirits as he headed to his Los Angeles office on Tuesday, two days after spending five hours with his wife at his rental home amid rumors of their impending divorce.
Affleck appeared in a navy blue suit and black dress shoes. He wore black sunglasses and carried a black duffel bag.
On Sunday, 55-year-old Lopez was spotted in her husband’s apartment building in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles.
The “Let’s Get Loud” singer arrived at Affleck’s house around 5 p.m. and stayed for nearly five hours, leaving shortly before 10 p.m.
Earlier that day, Lopez was photographed at the home of Affleck’s ex-wife Jennifer Garner, with whom he has children Violet (18), Seraphina (15) and Samuel (12).
Lopez dropped off one of her children, 16-year-old Emme, and went shopping with Samuel at Neiman Marcus and later to Century City Mall. They may have been buying a gift for Affleck, whose birthday is Thursday.
“Bennifer” have not been photographed together since June as it is widely believed that they are heading for divorce.
The stars’ relationship has been unclear since May after it was reported that Affleck was living in a different house than Lopez.
The couple has since put their $60 million Beverly Hills mansion up for sale, while Affleck bought his own home in Los Angeles for $20.5 million.
The “Gigli” co-stars spent the summer apart. Lopez vacationed in Europe and the Hamptons while Affleck worked in LA.
They were not together on the second anniversary of their wedding in Las Vegas or on Lopez’s 55th birthday, both of which were in July.
It is unclear whether the two will reunite on August 20 for the second anniversary of their high-profile wedding ceremony, which took place at Affleck’s Georgia home.
Last week, TMZ reported that Lopez and Affleck no longer speak to each other in person or on the phone.
The outlet also reported that the A-listers are letting their business managers handle the finances of their divorce rather than involving lawyers.
Lopez and Affleck originally dated from 2002 to 2004. In January 2004, they called off their engagement after postponing their wedding “due to the excessive media attention” surrounding the couple at the time.
After splitting, they married and had children with other partners before reconciling in 2021. They married in Las Vegas in July 2022 after a three-month engagement period and later had a more lavish ceremony in Georgia.
