I found Walmart’s 50 cent jeans thanks to a hidden sale – people always miss out because they don’t use my trick

WALMART customers could hardly believe it when a customer passed on several pairs of jeans she found for 50 cents and $1.

Walmart is known for its low prices, but the extremely cheap jeans that a shopper shared on Facebook made customers suspicious.

Teeyaj (@bargainshopwithteeyaj) shared a video of several Jordache jeans and pants for kids that cost just 50 cents.

She took several pairs of pants to the checkout and scanned them to prove that they cost either 50 cents or $1.

Most shoppers walked past the displays because they were not marked as special offers and the signs still showed the original prices.

Customers call this “hidden game.”

Sometimes prices are adjusted in the POS system before products can be moved to the clearance section or marked as on sale.

The Walmart app allows shoppers to scan price tags and see what they cost in the store they are in.

All the pants Teeyaj picked out had price tags saying $9.99.

However, the jeans cost 50 cents and the khakis only cost $1 – perfect for back to school.

In the comments, other buyers thanked her for her help in finding the offer.

One shopper shared a photo of a shopping cart full of pants that he got for $1 each.

Walmart shoppers are rushing to grab $150 worth of cooking supplies that they can scan at checkout for just $20 – where they can look for them in the store

It is important to note that price and availability vary by store.

THE BEST DEALS FROM WALMART

Elise (@MommingAndSaving) shared in a TikTok that she usually finds hidden sales on items that seem to be in the wrong place.

She showed a freezer with a handful of different items in the bottom.

“You shouldn’t be there,” said Elise.

She glanced at the package of frozen mashed potatoes and noticed that it was on sale for only $3, instead of $7.98.

On the candle shelf there were only two candles with special offer stickers on top.

What is Walmart Scan and Go?

Walmart’s Scan and Go is designed to save shoppers time

Walmart’s Scan and Go system is designed to allow customers to scan items as they shop, pay, and exit the checkout line without having to wait in long checkout lines.

The retailer describes setting up the new system as being done in just a few simple steps:

  • Customers must first download the Walmart app to their phone and enable location access.
  • On the Store Mode landing page, shoppers must click the “Scan to Go” option.
  • Customers can scan any item and add it to their shopping cart while shopping.
  • At the end, you will be asked to view the shopping cart to make sure the quantity in the app matches the quantity in your cart.
  • Shoppers press “Checkout” and go to a self-checkout kiosk.
  • You will be asked to scan the QR code provided at checkout and confirm your payment method.
  • Once the transaction is complete, customers can leave the store without worry.

Elise decided to check out the others and found that they were all on sale for $2.

A Reddit user shared that he got a pair of $90 boots for less than $3.

“The biggest discount I ever got was on a pair of size 13 steel toe boots at Walmart (I’m not a fan of the store but I needed boots for the snow at 10pm),” they wrote in the post.

“The boots on the right, size 12, ~$90, the boots on the left, size 14, ~$93.97, and in the middle, size 13, $2.97.”

Luckily, because of his size, he was able to grab the boots at about 97% off.

An employee initially said that they could not meet the price and that it must have been a mistake.

After consulting with a manager, the buyer was granted the discount.

Another Walmart shopper was able to take home 104 items for just over $3 thanks to a hidden sale.

The retailer is getting into trouble with its customers because it is introducing a new limit of 15 items at the self-service checkout.
