Enjoy and celebrate the Southwest Florida dining scene at Sizzle Dining from September 5-25

A record-breaking 116 participating restaurants, new brunch series on the agenda

Residents and visitors to Southwest Florida are invited to dine on an unforgettable, signature dinner at the region’s largest culinary event of the year, Sizzle Dining.

From September 5-25, a record-breaking 116 restaurants in Lee, Collier and Charlotte counties will serve special prix fixe menus, including two-course lunches for $19 or $29 and three-course dinners starting at $29, $39 or $49. New this year, Sizzle Dining is introducing a pop-up brunch series every Saturday and Sunday during the three-week event, for a total of six events at six different restaurants in Southwest Florida. One dollar from every meal purchased from the Sizzle Dining menu is donated to the Southwest Florida Chapter of Blessings in a Backpack. Thanks to local guests who participated in Sizzle Dining, more than $90,000 was raised dollar for dollar. Blessings in a Backpack uses the dollars raised to fill backpacks with food for local elementary school students experiencing food insecurity to eat over the weekend when school meals are unavailable. Over the past three years, Sizzle Dining has served more than 700 local children and provided 25,000 hunger-free weekends.

Not only is Sizzle Dining making a difference in the lives of hundreds of local children, but it also comes at a time when the local restaurant industry needs community support.

“September is traditionally the slowest month of the year for the Southwest Florida restaurant industry, and it’s a great opportunity for guests to experience Southwest Florida’s vibrant culinary scene with special prices and no long wait times,” said Guy Clarke, founder of Sizzle Dining. “New this year, we’re offering a brunch series on Saturdays and Sundays at participating restaurants and welcoming 39 new restaurants to the Sizzle Dining lineup. From Marco Island to Collier and Lee Counties to Boca Grande, we’re excited to offer the largest Sizzle Dining experience yet.”

Thanks to the dedication of local restaurant owners and Sizzle founders, Guy and Erin Clarke, it has grown significantly year after year. Each year, participating local restaurants create delicious prix fixe lunch and dinner menus that highlight the impressive culinary skills of their chefs. Menus are priced affordably to encourage visitors to try a variety of local restaurants. This event helps boost business in our local dining scene during one of Southwest Florida’s slowest months of the year. For every meal purchased, restaurant owners donate $1 of their proceeds to Blessings in a Backpack of Southwest Florida, an amazing organization that helps feed our local elementary school children on the weekends.
