In 2026 AT&T Stadium turns nine FIFA World Cup Games, including a semi-final, were watched worldwide – more than any of the other 15 host cities in the USA, Canada and Mexico. An impressive 3.4 million spectators attended the 2022 World Cup games in Qatar. Now Lewis is tasked with ensuring smooth arrivals and departures in 2026. Dallas Love Field Airport, Dallas Executive Airportand the Vertiport in downtown Dallas.

“We’re looking at the technologies and thinking about how we can use AI to help people get in and out of the car to make it as seamless and advanced as possible,” Lewis said in an interview with Capital Analytics Associates’ Invest:“We are also looking into contactless check-ins, as these are more efficient.”

In the interview, Lewis also talked about the collaboration with US Customs and Border Protection to help accommodate international travelers to the 2026 FIFA World Cup games in Arlington.

Beyond the World Cup, Lewis also discussed Love Field achieving Transformation Level 4 in the Airport Carbon Accreditation, being named the most child-friendly airport, and a number of other initiatives the Dallas Airport System is driving.
