Have you ever seen an advertisement for something and wondered, “Where is that place anyway?” That’s basically my reaction every time I see an Arby’s advertisement in Massachusetts. At some point, you almost have to wonder if they even exist here. That’s what I was wondering about the popular fast food restaurant, since there are almost none here in Massachusetts.

This fast food joint traditionally focuses its marketing on its roast beef sandwiches, which are really good (at least for a fast food joint). You must have seen their commercials, which are usually narrated by a guy with a deep voice shouting out their slogan, “WE GOT THE MEAT!!!” But I recently wondered how many Arby’s there are in Massachusetts anyway. The answer? 2! There are a total of two Arby’s in all of Massachusetts.

Since I hadn’t done any research on this particular fast food restaurant and its locations, I also learned that there aren’t many of them in New England at all. Is there no market here for Roast Beef ‘N’ Cheddar’s (probably their best sandwich)?

So where are these Arby’s in Massachusetts? Boston? Cape Cod? Salem? No, none of the above. The two locations in Massachusetts are as follows:

The above Google Maps image of the Chicopee location is a little older as it has since been renovated and has a more modern look, but you get what I mean. The Chicopee location is located at 1483 Granby Road.

If you travel further east, you may end up in Auburn, where the other Arby’s location is located at 406 Southbridge Street.

If you’ve never been to Arby’s (there are only two in Massachusetts), you might not have. But if you happen to visit a location, you might see things like these sandwiches on the menu:

There are many more, but you’ve probably seen something similar if you’ve seen one of their ads. This is what’s usually on their menu. Plus, just like in their commercials, they have the meat!
