The internet-famous pink Stanley Quencher Cup gets a Barbie makeover

Just when you thought it was the summer of the brat, everyone’s favorite doll is back to bathe the town in pink with the new Barbie and Stanley collaboration. The limited-edition collection encompasses Barbie’s iconic glamour across the decades and includes eight new and exciting designs of the viral mug released daily from September 16-20 – and there’s even a quencher for Ken.

Consider the new Barbie “Eras Tour” collection in cup form. In honor of the jack-of-all-trades doll’s 65th anniversary, the nostalgic collaboration traces her signature style through each decade. Starting with the beginning, the 1959 original Quencher is dressed in Barbie’s very first outfit (which you may recognize from last summer’s “Barbie” movie) reminiscent of her black-and-white chevron swimsuit, with blue-tinted cat-eye sunglasses and bright pink accents. The bright orange ’60s Twist ‘N Turn Quencher pays homage to the Barbie doll of the same name, while the pink and purple ’70s Superstar Quencher shines with glittery metallic stars.

Barbie was busy in the ’80s, so Stanley created four mugs as a tribute. The shimmery ’80s Peaches ‘N Cream Quencher features sweet blooms inspired by the original doll’s dress, while the ’80s Rockers Quencher and ’80s Dynamite Quencher nod to Barbie’s rock ‘n’ roll and disco era with retro prints and bold graphics. All new Barbie x Stanley Quenchers come in the 40 oz tumbler size, with the exception of the Icon Quencer, an all-pink, iridescent tumbler that bears the doll’s iconic signature and also comes in the 30 oz size. Each features the same double-wall vacuum insulation and convenient cupholder compatibility as the popular tumblers and is made from recycled stainless steel and BPA-free plastic. The hype surrounding the new collaboration is already alive on TikTok. The term “Stanley x Barbie” has already Over 32 million videos were uploaded, with users excited about the news and sharing their most requested “Barbie Dream Cup” ahead of the launch.

These guaranteed-to-sell-out collector Quenchers come hot on the heels of Stanley’s controversial collaboration with LoveShackFancy, which launched just days ago and is almost completely sold out. In fact, girly pink Stanley Quenchers are the best sellers. The term “pink Stanley Cup” has a large TikTok following with over 120 million posts, and the cult following prompted the brand to both reissue the limited-edition “Pink Parade” Quencher and introduce a new “Peony” shade last May.
