Celebrate North Tonawanda art, food, music and dance at the World Wide Webster

NORTH TONAWANDA, NY (WKBW) — Looking for late summer plans?

North Tonawanda may be the hottest place to be this Sunday as the community celebrates a day of art, food, music and dancing with an event called World Wide Webster.

World Wide Webster, in collaboration with the second annual Carnegie Art Spree, will be held Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Webster Street in North Tonawanda.

As part of the event, nine restaurants on Webster Street will offer exclusive $5 tasting and cocktail menus, each representing a different culture.

Participating restaurants include:

  • Canal Club 62
  • Coffee & Stone
  • District 37
  • #18 of 21 places to eat in Dublin
  • The Point
  • Frankie Primos +39
  • Oven and Gelato
  • Webster’s Bistro

Several North Tonawanda retailers also offer special deals during World Wide Webster.
Participating retailers include:

  • Asters & Lilies
  • Avalon Exotics
  • Black Label Tattoo Club & Piercing
  • Wine and spirits on the canal
  • Shine and shimmer
  • Contented mind
  • Spiritually rooted
  • Suzuki Strings
  • You’re growing, girl

Visitors can also enjoy performances by several unique dance companies.

  • 12:30 – Scottish dance
  • 1:00 – Buffalo Bhangra
  • 1:30 pm Oasis Dance Center
  • 14:30 African American Cultural Center
  • 3:00 Donegan Dance Exploration

“If we can bring our culture together, incorporate the waterfront and offer good food and good music, it’s a win-win for all of us,” North Tonawanda Mayor Austin Tylec said during the announcement for World Wide Webster. “These are the things that make for a truly thriving economy in our downtown district.”
Admission to World Wide Webster is free.
