PETALING JAYA: A video shared by a homeowner on TikTok has gone viral, showing the nightmare of renting properties to unreliable tenants.

The video, which has received over 8,276 likes and 2,114 comments, shows a house full of garbage left behind by owner Che Zaiton Isa, a “tenant from the hellhole.”

As he walks through the house, his frustration is evident: almost every surface is covered in trash, even the mattresses.

“Damn, the house is completely destroyed!” he complained in the video.

“I don’t know what they did.”

“I can’t believe I got a tenant like that,” he said.

He added: “I’ll just lock the house and get someone to clean it up… and get the tenant to move out.”

The shocking footage sparked a wave of reactions online, with many TikTok users expressing their disbelief.

One user, Sofea2015, asked: “How could they live in this place? Just looking at it stresses me out.”

Another user, MR.MiMiE, asked: “Is the tenant still alive?”

“Oh my god, is this a house or a garbage dump?” wrote nashrye_248.

“I work as a domestic helper and often come across rental apartments in this condition. It overwhelms me so much that I don’t even know how to start cleaning,” said another user named ernieka.
