The numerous announcements from the Made by Google event have unveiled a wealth of new features for Gemini, expanding on the features unveiled during the event, and offering help accessing Google Assistant’s famous routine experiences, which will be available to users in the Gemini app for Android, according to a new report from 9to5Google.

This is a nice addition from the major tech company, as setting up routines through Android’s Gemini app was unavailable to users in February, with a message saying it “no longer works.”

With Gemini now taking the spotlight as the premier AI assistant on Android devices, this latest addition reintroduces Google Assistant routines that users can access through the multimodal AI.

How to set new routines using the Gemini AI app

To ask Gemini to trigger a routine, all you have to do is say “start” and then tell the AI ​​what routine to set. While Gemini is the one users talk to, Google Assistant is launched to set said routine.

However, Google has pointed out that “not all launchers or actions” are supported by Gemini. In addition, entering the routine to be set by Gemini does not work either.
