HAGERSTOWN, MD (August 15, 2024) – The Washington County Office of Emergency Management invites you to the annual Remembrance In The Park Ceremony on Tuesday, September 10, 2024. The event will be held at 6:00 p.m. in the Washington County Emergency Services Tribute Gardens in Hagerstown City Park, located at 501 Virginia Avenue, Hagerstown, MD 21740.

The memorial ceremony will be a powerful reminder of the courage, sacrifice and resilience of our soldiers, law enforcement officers and first responders. It will also pay tribute to the citizens who selflessly give of their time and effort to keep our community safe and ready for action. We will honor our fallen heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty to protect our community and keep the citizens of Washington County, Maryland safe.

Together, we can support and empower those who work tirelessly to protect our freedoms and ensure the well-being of our community. Your participation is invaluable and will make a meaningful difference.

Attendees should bring chairs. Handicapped parking is available but limited.
