There will be a mobile food distribution at the Lawrence Library until September

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – Arm In Arm’s mobile food distribution will be at the Lawrence location of the Mercer County Public Library branch on Monday, September 9, 16, 23 and 30 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Residents experiencing food insecurity can visit the mobile food distribution center and obtain what they need.

Registration is not required. Arm In Arm staff will register participants upon arrival.

Arm In Arm has been operating in Mercer County for four decades, providing resources such as food and financial assistance to residents in need.

Healthy foods such as fresh produce, eggs and milk, frozen proteins, quality baked goods and shelf-stable canned and packaged items, as well as personal care products such as shampoo, soap and diapers are available.

Arm In Arm welcomes 4,000-5,000 families annually through over 40,000 food and mobile pantry visits and works with 200-400 at-risk families to prevent or end homelessness.

“It’s so important that we bring services into our communities to reach our residents where they are,” said Mercer County Executive Dan Benson. “The collaboration between the Mercer County Library System and Arm In Arm is a great example of how we can work together to help those who need it most.”

Arm In Arm relies on volunteers to distribute food to those who need it most. Want to get involved? Contact Shariq Marshall at 609-508-7851, [email protected].
