QUEENS, NY – A man was hit with a glass bottle during a robbery at a Queens subway station, police said.

The incident occurred last Saturday, August 10, around 3 p.m. at the Woodhaven Boulevard subway station in Elmhurst, police said.

A 42-year-old man was at the train station when he was approached by three unknown men who hit him with a glass bottle and then robbed him of his wallet and $300, police said.

The people then fled north on an R-Bahn train, police said.

The victim was taken to NYC Health and Hospitals/Elmhurst in stable condition, police said.
