Looes.shop uses deceptive tactics to trick customers into placing orders and handing over their money or sensitive personal information, making it a scam website.
Scammers behind Looes.shop promote the website and lure victims using spam emails and social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. They use incredibly low prices and stolen product images to lure unsuspecting shoppers to this fraudulent website.
Once victims place orders and submit payment information, the scammers simply take the money and disappear. For customers, this means one of the following results:
- In most cases, orders are not fulfilled and simply disappear after the payment is processed, so nothing happens at all.
- Victims may receive cheap replicas made from inferior materials that do not match the original product descriptions and are therefore counterfeits or inferior substitutes.
- In some cases, victims report receiving obviously used, broken, or otherwise tampered with items, suggesting that no new products are being shipped, but that this is the result of receiving used, damaged, or tampered with goods.
- Some orders arrive with completely different products than those ordered, which is not the case and results in completely wrong items being delivered.
In addition to selling bogus goods or no goods at all, Looes.shop also unscrupulously collects customers’ personal and financial information during the checkout process, including full names, home addresses, phone numbers, credit card details, and more. This information is likely used or sold for nefarious purposes such as identity theft, credit card fraud, or sharing on dark web marketplaces.
