When my son and I first stumbled upon the ArtStart ArtScraps Reuse Store, I thought I had arrived in my own personal paradise. It’s a magical store filled with a completely random assortment of art supplies, treasures, and more at discounted prices! You never know exactly what you’ll find, but you’ll find it at an incredible price!
And the best part? ArtStart is a nonprofit organization and their business, ArtScraps, saves thousands of pounds of art waste and returns it to the community! So every time you come here, you’re shopping for a good cause and saving money in the process.
The ArtScraps Reuse Store is filled to the brim with all kinds of crafting supplies you’ll need for your next creation! The store is very well organized and labeled, plus there are many sample projects on display if you need inspiration. The staff is very friendly and helpful on each of our visits to the store.
ArtScraps is putting all of their school supplies on display now, so it’s the perfect time to stop by with your kids’ school supply lists. You can find lots of new or used items for way less than retail price. And maybe you’ll find a few other treasures for projects to work on when the kids go back to school? I know I’ll be bringing my own wish list too!
ArtScraps also accepts donations. Currently, donation appointments are scheduled 2-3 weeks in advance. Check out their website to see how to schedule your donation appointment and what donations they accept.
