As the weather gets warmer and the food scene gets warmer, New Jerseyans look forward to all the food truck festivals they can experience there.

The possibilities are endless and it’s a great break from the work routine and a chance to enjoy a good meal with friends.

Craving tacos? There’s a truck for that. Are you more of a barbecue fan? There’s a truck for that, too. Or maybe you want to skip the savory option altogether and go straight to dessert. There are plenty of trucks offering every kind of sweet treat imaginable, from cheesecake to ice cream to cupcakes.

Then there are the original food trucks that serve dishes like 15 different kinds of rice balls or empanadas.

Whatever your needs, there is a truck to suit you and suppliers are easily accessible throughout the state.

Yelp has compiled a list of the “Top 30” food trucks in the United States, and a food truck from New Jersey made the list.

In 19th place sits Wisp Express based in Jersey City.

What kind of food will you see coming out of his food truck? Believe it or not: sushi.

It sounds questionable, but the critics say it’s a hit.

So if you see Wisp Express or another food truck near you, be sure to stop and support these small businesses.
