How to build a bus station in LEGO Fortnite

With the release of the v30.40 update for LEGO Fortnite, the new Fast Travel feature was introduced. However, to use this feature, you will need a Bus Stop.

Bus stops appear in random locations on the map and your chances of finding them in different locations may vary, but on the plus side, you can also build your own bus stop.

How to decipher the recipe for building a bus station

Like special structures in LEGO Fortnite, players must unlock the building instructions before they can build them.

For bus stops, the prescription will be activated when they appear on your map. To do this you need to find a bus stop.

Bus stops have a distinctive appearance. Players should look for a blue square building with an extended base and a blue light emanating from the top.

Once you’re nearby, you’ll also be able to hear a unique audio cue specific to bus stops.

Materials required to build a bus station

The following materials are needed to build a bus station:

4 iron bars
2 malachite plates
6 Frost pines
3 Rift Shards

Collecting the materials needed to build a bus station

Iron Ingots are found in the caves of the Frostlands. To create an Iron Ingot, place Iron Ore and 2 Brightcores in a Metal Smelter.
Malachite slabs are found on the peaks of snow-capped mountains in the Frostlands.
Frost pines are, as the name suggests, trees that occur in the ice biome. When you cut them down, you get the necessary wood
Rift Shards are obtained by destroying other bus stops.

Rift Shards are considered the most important component for building your own bus stop in LEGO Fortnite, so make sure you have plenty of them on hand. To destroy another bus stop, however, you’ll need to use the Epic Pickaxe, an item crafted at an Epic Crafting Station using the following resources:

8 obsidian plates
5 Frost Pine Rods

Build your own bus station in LEGO Fortnite

Once you’ve collected all the resources you need, you can build your own bus station in LEGO Fortnite. Open the build menu and scroll down until you see the bus station blueprint. From there, just follow the instructions in the blueprint. Use the markers to build a bus station in your desired location.

Fast travel via the bus station

Once you have successfully set up your bus station, you can now use it to travel to any location you want. If you don’t know how to fast travel in LEGO Fortnite, follow the steps listed below:

Go to the bus station and interact with it
Select your destination and click “Confirm”.

This will allow you to enter the location you want to travel to. After a short wait, you will be taken to the Battle Bus.
