All Elite Wrestling made an announcement in Texas on Thursday, announcing that the next Everything included will take place at Globe Life Field in Arlington. The event will be AEW’s first stadium show in America before Everything included returns to London in 2026.
As AEW moves its summer show from London’s Wembley Stadium to the US, there is speculation about a possible return of WWE SummerSlam to London in 2025. The last time WWE’s summer tradition graced the UK was in 1992, when SummerSlam took place at Wembley and was the first time WWE held a pay-per-view outside of North America.
WWE has not yet confirmed a venue or date for SummerSlam 2025. After this year’s event, WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque was asked about the future format of SummerSlamHe suggested that the days of a single night SummerSlam could be over, saying, “So is this the last SummerSlam you see that’s just one night? I think so. But we’ll see where that goes long-term. I’m excited for that opportunity.” Notably, Levesque did not mention a location for the 2025 event.
Last month, Levesque and WWE President Nick Khan were in London to discuss possible deals with Mayor Sadiq Khan, including the possibility of WrestlingMania to the UK. Speaking to Mail Sport, Levesque said: “We are all focused on the same goal, which is to have WrestleMania come here. But we will see where it goes.”
This conversation opens up the possibility of a multi-event deal between WWE and the City of London. WWE recently announced a partnership with Indiana Sports Corp to produce its three biggest stadium events – WrestlingMania, SummerSlamAnd Royal Rumble — to Indianapolis. The first of these spectacles, Royal Rumbleis scheduled to take place on February 1 at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Should WWE make a similar deal with London, SummerSlam The first of several major WWE events could take place in England’s capital in 2025. At the moment, however, this is still speculation.
It is confirmed that WrestleMania 41 takes place in Las Vegas and SummerSlam 2026 is planned as a two-day event in Minneapolis. The remaining events in the WWE partnership in Indianapolis have yet to be announced. But with AEW’s Everything included With the move to Texas, the door is open for WWE to bring their summer spectacular back to London. Whether that happens or not, only time will tell.
