College Station police arrest five people and search for suspect in illegal narcotics investigation

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – Five suspects have been arrested in connection with a drug investigation by the College Station Police Department (CSPD) and the manhunt for another suspect is ongoing.

According to a press release from the CSPD, its special investigation unit began investigating a case “in connection with the sale of cocaine (And) fraudulently pressed Adderall pills.” The investigation began at the end of April and led to the identification of another supplier.

Investigators managed to gather enough evidence in August to obtain search warrants for several homes along Bryan and College Station.

On August 8, police seized the following narcotics from an apartment in College Station:

  • 12.4 pounds of marijuana
  • 9.7 ounces of cocaine
  • 1.5 ounces of MDMA in various forms
  • 900 fraudulently pressed Adderall pills
  • 600 fraudulently pressed Xanax pills
  • 1 ounce psilocybin mushrooms
  • 70 THC vape cartridges
  • a small amount of ketamine.

Five suspects were arrested in connection with the seizure.

Daegin Hamilton, 21, of Bryan, is in the Brazos County Jail on charges that include three counts of manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana. His bail is set at $44,000.

Kate-Lynn Lindeman, 20, of Whitney, is in the Brazos County Jail on charges of engaging in organized crime. Her bail is set at $25,000.

Alexander Welch, 27, of Temple is in the Brazos County Jail on a charge of marijuana possession. His bail is set at $12,000.

Zakary Webb, 19, of College Station is in the Brazos County Jail on charges that include two counts of manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana. His bail is set at $45,000.

Cayden Carroll, 23, of College Station is in the Brazos County Jail on two counts of possession of a controlled substance. His bail is set at $13,000.

Cooper Currie, 28, of Bryan, has yet to appear in court. Police have a warrant for his arrest, including three counts of manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and engaging in organized crime.
