4 Offers, Island Gypsy Fundraiser, French Lunch, Free Gifts

This week, swap your Pucci for puppies, Ferragamo for Ferragosto, and your vintage Fendi baguette for a French-language lunch at a similarly named bistro where Hermès accents adorn the walls.

Very chic, right?

In addition, there are plenty of options, including three in the city center and one for children, which parents will appreciate.

Prices quoted do not include taxes or tips, so plan accordingly.

Pawty is part of the Humane Society Naples fundraiser

Gypsy Sue and her owners Mike and Gail Cochran host the 12th Birthday party in Island Gypsy Café from 4 to 6 p.m., August 18. Admission is free, as is the food, but those who show up empty-handed may be in for a growl: All donations go to the Humane Society of Naples, the nonprofit animal shelter that does not kill animals and relies on donations to operate the facility.

Suggested gifts include unopened bags of dog food and cat food, clean towels and blankets – a big need – bowls and collars, and kitty litter. Cash and checks are also welcome. All proceeds benefit HSN. Dogs are welcome, but bring a leash. Fun fact: In 2022, thanks to his fundraising efforts, a dog room was created in the dog’s honor at the Airport-Pulling Road animal shelter.
