The Baltimore Ravens will face the Atlanta Falcons this Saturday. While John Harbaugh and Co. are doing everything they can to start the first preseason game with a win at their home game, Raheem Morris and Co. are also on the hunt for their first win of the season after a loss to the Dolphins.
John Harbaugh and Co. last won the Superbowl about 8 years ago in 2012. Now John Harbaugh’s squad is looking good. Lamar Jackson is expected to lead the team, accompanied by wide receivers Rashod Bateman, Devontez Walker, Tylan Wallace and Deonte Harty.
The rest of the offense looks just as solid as it did in the 2023 season, where they finished 4th in total points, first in rushing, and fourth in offensive DVOA.
The Falcons are entering the 2024 season with fresh energy. With Kirk Cousins they have a new starting quarterback, a new offensive coordinator and a new head coach with Raheem Morris.
While the Falcons’ offensive strategy will remain exciting, their defense is expected to be solid. Defensive coordinator Jimmy Lake has indicated that Atlanta will employ a 3-4 defense that typically includes two inside linebackers.
