Palace Station opens a new location for “China Mama” in the fall

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Popular Spring Valley Chinese restaurant China Mama will open a new location at Palace Station this fall, a casino spokesman said Thursday.

Station Casinos said the opening of China Mama is part of its efforts to give the Palace Station restaurant a culinary makeover. To make room for the new location, Station Casinos terminated its management agreement with Boathouse Asian Eatery.

Boathouse will now continue operations until its final day on September 1. Station Casinos said they encourage current Boathouse employees to apply for the new restaurant and other open positions at StationCasinoJobs.com.

Below is Palace Station’s statement regarding the closure of Boathouse Asian Eatery and the opening of China Mama.

“As part of Palace Station’s culinary redesign, the property will end its management agreement with Boathouse Asian Eatery to make room for popular local restaurant China Mama. We are grateful for the Boathouse team’s contributions, delicious meals and memories and look forward to welcoming guests through the restaurant’s final day of operation on Sunday, September 1. Boathouse team members are encouraged to apply for open positions at Station Casinos on StationCasinosJobs.com. Later this fall, Palace Station will welcome China Mama, a local favorite offering authentic Chinese dishes and home-cooked recipes that have made this restaurant a Las Vegas staple. Earlier this year, Palace Station welcomed the arrival of Mexican restaurant Lindo Michoacan.”
