In Massachusetts, or any other state, there’s just something about the restaurants that gives you the feeling of a truly classic dining experience. Maybe it’s the nostalgic “retro” feel. Or maybe it’s because someone (like me) is always in the mood for a really good breakfast. But let’s be honest, that retro feel really seems to have the biggest impact, more than anything else. And now we know where to find the best retro restaurant in Massachusetts.

The popular food publication “Love Food” recently published its list of The best retro diner in every state. They described the establishments on the list as “colorful vintage venues with long bar tops, cozy booths, jukeboxes and other familiar touches.” This phrase perfectly describes their choice of Massachusetts venue.

Which diner in Massachusetts is the “best retro diner in the state”?

About 10 miles west of Boston is a town called Natick. There you will find one of the best classic diners in America, a place called Casey’s Diner.

You can’t go wrong with a diner that not only serves a good breakfast but is also known for its amazing hot dogs. Here’s what Love Food had to say about the unique diner that is the best retro diner in Massachusetts:

Casey’s is considered one of the oldest operating diners in America. The 10-seat dining car has been serving customers since 1922 – although it was originally a horse-drawn wagon. It has a long wooden bar, classic diner stools, retro floor tiles and a bun steamer that predates the restaurant. People come to experience a piece of history and try Casey’s famous steamed hot dogs. Order yours “all around” with relish, onions and mustard.

Casey’s Diner also offers pickup and delivery, which can be ordered through their website. Check out their extensive menu at the link provided here.

So if you’re in the eastern part of the state in Natick and looking for a great diner, now you know there happens to be one that is one of the best classic diners in America. You really can’t go wrong with this experience!
