Angela L. “Angie” Finney, age 61, of Wauzeka, WI, died Tuesday, August 13, 2024, while doing the gardening she loved. She was born August 7, 1963 to Roger and Mary Ann (Mislivecek) Chase. Angie grew up on her family’s hog farm near Beetown, WI and later became the “Pork Princess” of Grant County. She attended Lancaster High School, where she played flute in the school band. Angie graduated in 1981. She then earned an associate degree in accounting from Southwest Technical College in Fennimore. Angie married Jeff Finney on June 6, 1998, at the United Methodist Church in Lancaster, WI. She worked for Gencor Industries in Marquette, IA before joining 3M in Prairie du Chien, where she remained for over 20 years. Angie always loved her pets and animals, including pigs, chickens, dogs and cats. She loved flowers, gardening and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Jeff, her stepchildren Steven and Nikki Finney, her brother Jeff (Jennifer) Chase, three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and her sister Rose Duncan.

Viewing will be from 9:00 a.m. to noon on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at the Garrity Funeral Home Chapel in Prairie du Chien, WI with burial in Wauzeka Cemetery in Wauzeka, WI.
