The most comfortable clothes and shoes we tested are now on sale

Dressing in style doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice comfort – and as shopping writers, it’s our job to prove it.

Our PEOPLE Tested team spends countless hours trying on the best jeans, bras, shoes, and more so we can tell you which comfortable items are actually worth your money. And right now, some of our favorite clothing items are on sale at Amazon.

The best deals on comfortable, human-tested picks

Lee – Mid-rise boyfriend jeans

People

The words “comfortable” and “jeans” may sound like antonyms, but trust us when we say these Lee Mid-Rise Boyfriend Jeans fit that description. Three people wore sizes ranging from 2 to 20, and all agreed that the soft and stretchy cotton material felt great all day long.

Even after a few washes in the washing machine, the jeans still looked like new. Given their durability and quality, we would have expected the jeans to cost a lot more than they do, even at full price, so snagging them on sale seems like a good deal.

Columbia Switchback III Jacket

People / Joy Kim

When it rains, the last thing you want to do is get stuck in a storm without a jacket. And if you’re looking for a solid option that you can always have on hand, now’s a great time to grab the best rain jacket we’ve tested, as long as it’s under $45.

The Columbia Switchback III kept us perfectly dry during our water splash tests, and the breathable fabric allowed us to stay cool without overheating. It has a looser fit that doesn’t restrict movement—we were even able to do jumping jacks while wearing it. Plus, it packs into itself so it’ll easily fit in your bag.

Wacoal Comfort First non-wired t-shirt bra

Amazon

An outfit is only as comfortable as its undergarments, and the Wacoal Comfort First Bra is the best wireless bra we’ve tested. The band feels soft yet strong, and it offers full coverage that offers a surprising amount of support for a no-wire style (though women with larger breasts may still prefer an underwire bra for extra support). The adjustable straps won’t dig into the shoulders, and the soft memory foam cups make it extra comfortable.

Baleaf Pleated Tennis Skirt

People / Mollie Pendexter

Tennis skirts are a comfortable alternative to athletic shorts, and this pleated Baleaf skort is a stylish choice. It features a waistband that provides light compression, and the built-in shorts impressed us in our skort testing. A small zippered pocket on the back holds credit cards and keys, and a side pocket in the shorts is great for tennis balls or a phone.

Amazon Essentials Ballerina Flats

These versatile ballet flats were wearable right out of the box. We’ve tried a lot of comfortable shoes and ballet flats often rub on the heels and cause blisters, but not these. The style is sophisticated and simple, which is great for the office or dinner. They come in 23 colors, including a trendy silver and a fun cheetah print that will jazz up any outfit.

B.Tempt’d – Comfortable hipster panties

People

These hipster panties from B.Tempt’d impressed us when we tried seamless underwear. We wore the underwear while working out and our testers agreed that it never bunched up or was uncomfortable. We also loved that the underwear was undetectable under clothing. Add a pair to your wardrobe while they’re only $7.
