Dover has acquired SPS Cryogenics BV and its associated company Special Gas Systems (SGS) BV, based in Heerhugowaard, the Netherlands. SPS and SGS are now part of the OPW Clean Energy Solutions business unit (OPW CES) within Dover’s Clean Energy & Fueling segment.

SPS and SGS design, manufacture and supply vacuum insulated piping systems for a wide range of liquefied gases such as nitrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide and other industrial gases. SPS and SGS complement OPW CES’ world-leading cryogenic gas flow control platform with a complementary product offering and an expanded presence in Europe.

“This acquisition is a natural extension of our recent acquisition of Demaco and supports OPW CES’ growth strategy. It strengthens our capabilities and diversifies our product portfolio to meet the increasing global demand for clean energy,” said Kevin Long, President of OPW. “The addition of SPS and SGS, as well as the acquisitions of Demaco and Marshall Excelsior last month, strengthen our position in the cryogenics and industrial gases sectors and underscore our commitment to providing our customers with cutting-edge technology solutions.”
