In a heartbreaking appeal for justice Johnny Wactor‘s devastated colleague, Anita Joyhas spoken out and called on the authorities to punish the suspects accused of the tragic murder of the actor as harshly as possible.

Earlier on Friday, four suspects were arrested in connection with the brutal shooting of the popular star. Joy also blamed the restaurant where the unfortunate incident took place.

Anita Joy, who was there that fateful night, is overwhelmed by her grief. She is convinced that true peace can only come when those responsible for Johnny Wactor’s death are brought to justice.

Wactor’s friend blamed Level 8, the downtown Los Angeles restaurant where the incident occurred, for the tragic incident that led to his death. Joy claims that the restaurant created a dangerous environment due to inadequate parking for employees, which ultimately cost Wactor his life.

The television star was fatally shot when he confronted a group attempting to steal his car’s catalytic converter in the restaurant’s parking lot. Joy claims she and other employees have repeatedly raised concerns about the parking situation with management, but they have been met with inaction.

Adding to the frustration, Joy said neither she nor Wactor’s family had been in touch with the restaurant since the fatal shooting. The only support she received came from her co-workers.

Joy, a close friend of the late star, expressed relief that the three suspects arrested in connection with his murder will be tried as adults.

Joy was initially concerned that the suspects might be minors and feared they would not be charged as adults. However, it turns out that all three suspects are 18 years old and will be tried as adults.

Joy described a mixture of emotions since the arrests and admitted to feeling both joy and relief. She told TMZ that the news of their arrest and the fact that the suspects are being held on high bail sparked a sense of hope.

However, she stressed that true justice can only be achieved if those responsible for Wactor’s tragic death are convicted. Joy explained the emotional toll of the unsolved case:

“We experienced this kind of stagnant grief where we weren’t able to really heal or fully understand what had just happened to us.”

Despite her ongoing grief, Joy expressed some relief that significant progress had been made in the case ahead of Wactor’s birthday on August 31.

On Friday, three 18-year-olds – Robert Barceleau, Leonel Gutierrez and Sergio Estrada – were arrested and charged with murder. A 22-year-old man named Frank Olano was also arrested as a suspected accomplice.

The arrests came after LAPD Homicide Detectives executed search warrants across Los Angeles, uncovering key evidence that led to the suspects’ capture, The Blast reported.

Bail was set at $2 million each for all four suspects. It is unclear whether they have secured legal representation.

What seemed harmless at first quickly escalated into a nightmare. Anita Joy, who was with Wactor that night, recounted heartbreaking details about the moments before his death.

Joy described how she and Wactor initially thought it was a tow truck. She recalled Wactor calmly approaching the men and telling them it was his car, with open hands and no aggression.

“When I heard the shot in the night, he fell back into my arms with full force,” Joy said in a social media post a few days after the tragedy.

Despite her desperate attempts to keep him conscious, Wactor collapsed in her arms. The suspects fled in a dark sedan, leaving Joy calling for help as Wactor lay wounded.

Although he was taken to a nearby hospital, it was too late – the 37-year-old was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.

The tragic loss of the “Siberia” actor, who died tragically in May, still has a profound impact on the lives of those who knew and loved him.

In an emotional interview with Good Morning America, his mother Scarlett Wactor expressed her deep sadness. “You have taken a wonderful human being,” she said, heartbroken over her son’s untimely death.

Tessa Farrell, a former fiancée and fellow actor, penned a candid and emotional tribute to Wactor on Instagram, remembering him as a “funny” and “phenomenal” actor and mentioning both the highs and lows of their tumultuous relationship.

Recalling their fiery relationship and Wactor’s dream of happiness, Farrell said, “Johnny is up there looking down now, and I’m so happy that I think we found happiness before he left.”
