IS A RESTAURANT COMING TO THE JUNGLE ON MARS?
As I walked past the wallpapered Jungle on Mars south of Chambers at 88 West Broadway, a guy wearing a kitchen ventilation company shirt came out. Good news, but this could be a dicey location. Before Homemade by Miriam moved into this space in June 2020, Rafi Hasid and his partners proposed a tavern there, but even then there were ventilation issues…

UNBELIEVABLY QUIET WEEKENDS IN AUGUST
I drove through the intersection of Chambers and West Broadway on a red light one Saturday with no cars in sight – that was a long time ago. Maybe when we moved in in 2004? It was pretty spooky actually. I was too stunned to take a photo.

MARINE LAYER COMES TO BROOKFIELD
A. saw the sign for Marine Layer, the San Francisco-based casual clothing company, located on the second floor next to Bonobos in Brookfield.

TRIBECA POOL PARTY AT FRIEDRICHS PONTONE
