A TikToker shared an unusual video on social media while dressed as Miles Morales.

Malik Ambersley has built up a large fan base through his roles as Spider Man: Across the Spider-Verse Star: Miles Morales.

In fact, people like his content so much that the content creator has nearly a million followers on TikTok.

The unusual NPC character trend on the video-sharing platform has become increasingly popular over the past year.

Malik often does live streams in public, but this doesn’t always benefit him.

In a clip posted a few days ago, the TikToker was attacked by a drunk man while filming. The man then apparently fell over and vomited off-camera, causing the video to be cut off.

With this in mind, Malik’s supporters urged him to invest in a green screen instead of appearing in public so that he would not put himself in such situations.

And that’s definitely advice he should have followed after a new video surfaced of him being reprimanded by an employee because the NPC cosplayer climbed up some shelves – in what appears to be a Home Depot – to film content from above.

In the video, shared on Malik’s Instagram page and elsewhere online, he can be seen filming from the unusual location as a staff member spots him.

“How did you get up there?” he is asked.

“I just climbed up here. I’m Spider-Man,” Malik replied, but the woman was obviously not in the mood for his antics.

“I need you to come down immediately,” she urged, before Malik responded with Miles Morales’ famous line, “I’m doing my own thing.”

The employee then threatens to call the police, but Malik does not seem willing to give in.

It is unclear whether the police were called or not, as the video then stopped.

People have since reacted to the unusual video, with some calling it “embarrassing.”

“Bro is out of seats for his Tiktiok live concert,” one person wrote.

“This is just embarrassing now, it’s the year 2024,” said a second.

Others urged him to apply for a job at Home Depot while he was there.

Some people, however, were not so critical and actually found the whole thing quite funny.

Someone said: “Someone caught NPC Miles Morales standing on a top shelf during a TikTok live. It’s hilarious! I can’t stop laughing!”

Another person wrote: “He’s hilarious for hitting her with his signature quote.”
