Perigold chooses East Florida hotspot for first retail store

Perigold chooses East Florida hotspot for first retail store

BOSTON – Perigold, the luxury retailer in Wayfair’s portfolio of brands, has announced plans for brick-and-mortar locations, with the first confirmed for West Palm Beach, Florida.

The Boston-based retailer will open a store in CityPlace, an open-air shopping, dining, arts and events destination in West Palm, in fall 2025.

According to officials, the new project represents a significant milestone in the brand’s expansion plan to establish a brick-and-mortar presence in key markets and provide customers with a real-world experience where they can discover and interact with products in a meaningful way.

“Perigold is the go-to place for luxury homes. Before our launch in 2017, consumers in particular had limited access to the best home designs. No retailer offered the breadth of categories, styles and designer-loved brands that we do in one place,” said Rebecca Ginns, global head of Perigold. “With this expansion, we are excited to expand access to our offering with physical stores where consumers and designers alike can see and experience in person the excellent craftsmanship and materials of these amazing products.”

The West Palm Beach location will span nearly 2,800 square feet over two floors, including an outdoor balcony overlooking CityPlace’s main street. High ceilings and natural light add a sense of grandeur, and the generous space allows Perigold to showcase the breadth of its range and provide room for collaboration between designers and clients.

Perigold will open a number of retail stores in 2025 and confirms the CityPlace location in West Palm Beach to expand the luxury home shopping experience by providing access to products and brands in a physical space and offering access to the roster of brands and designer-curated collections currently offered on the website. This expansion will also allow them to host events and partner with local businesses to build communities in a new and more personal way.

It is important to Perigold that the community has a consistent experience from location to store. Similar to its online presence, the brand’s retail locations will bring its branded and designer shops to life. Stores will feature distinct environments throughout the space, curated by local and national design partners such as Marie Flanigan, Jessica Davis, Helen Bergin, Julie Neill and more.

Perigold’s offering includes products from more than 150 brands, including Century, Vanguard, Oly, House of Rohl, Theodore Alexander, Visual Comfort, Stark Rugs and Scalamandre.

“Having a tangible retail space where I can see all of my favorite products is critical to understanding how a piece will resonate with a customer,” said Helen Bergin, interior designer and partner at Perigold. “A retailer like Perigold, a place that offers all of a designer’s favorite sources of inspiration under one roof, is a game changer, especially in a place like West Palm Beach. The area has incredible vintage dealers but fewer retail options – Perigold will change that, not just for this area but for the industry.”
