LEITCHFIELD, Kentucky – A woman faces multiple charges for allegedly driving while intoxicated near a Grayson County liquor store.

According to a uniform complaint, Leitchfield police responded to a call Saturday at 211 N. Main Street where an apparently intoxicated woman was driving through a liquor store drive-thru with children in the car.

When they arrived, the police found a gray Ford Fusion with a man and children inside.

Authorities said they spoke with a woman who had just left the store with a sealed bottle of alcohol. She was identified as Raven Turner, 27, of Clarkson.

According to the police report, Turner had difficulty understanding the police officers, was unsteady while standing and spoke unclearly.

After a sobriety test, Turner was taken into custody.

According to police, this was not the first time Turner was charged with drunk driving at this store.

Turner was arrested and charged with driving under the influence (second offense), second-degree reckless endangerment, endangering the welfare of a minor, and failure to carry required insurance as a driver (first offense).

According to court records, authorities say Turner was previously convicted of drunken driving in Grayson County in 2023.
