Abu Dhabi released its first official rental index for the capital on Tuesday. The index was issued by the capital’s real estate sector regulator, the Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre (ADREC).

The platform, which serves both tenants and landlords, aims to increase market transparency, provide benchmark rents and support the stability of the capital’s growing real estate market.

The platform provides quarterly guide rent prices for properties in different parts of the city. Residents can easily access reliable data on residential, commercial and industrial properties.

How it works

The rental index is provided on a very user-friendly platform where users can select any area of the city and get the prices of different types of properties in that area. Users can access the service through the Abu Dhabi Real Estate website: gis.adm.gov.ae/rentalindex.

To get clear and comprehensive information, users need to select their preferred municipality – Dhafra, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. They can then select the desired zone and then the sector.

After selecting the area in question, the index provides transparent information on property prices in that area, ranging from apartments to villas. Renters and buyers can also get a clear picture of the number of bedrooms available in these properties and the different prices of each bedroom.

The portal also provides an interactive map that allows you to view the locations and choose between them.

According to Abu Dhabi Media Relations, the rental index is a continuation of ADREC’s ongoing efforts to improve customer satisfaction in the real estate market and create value for all stakeholders, including investors, property owners and tenants.
