Jewett Cameron introduces fence product displays in stores

NORTH PLAINS, Oregon., 20 August 2024 /PRNewswire/ — Jewett-Cameron Trading Company Ltd. (NASDAQ: JCTCF) has successfully launched in-store displays for its integrated steel frame for wood fencing in major home improvement stores. These displays were successfully tested in our fiscal third quarter and expanded to additional stores over the summer, with additional regions to be added in a larger rollout in the first quarter beginning September 1, 2024.

In the spring of 2024, Jewett Cameron worked with major home improvement retailers to develop a merchandise display with enhanced point-of-sale advertising to be placed in the aisles near wood fencing materials. The first test of these merchandise displays in Southern California The region was so successful that other stores quickly followed suit. Lifetime Steel Post® product sales at participating stores with these vending machines significantly exceeded the previous year’s levels. Regional store managers in other areas took notice and requested vending machines be added to their stores. Jewett Cameron currently has vending machine installations planned in several other regions and requests for additional regions are coming in continuously.
