PacSim releases John Glenn Columbus International Airport

Pacific Island Simulation (PacSim) has released its highly anticipated John Glenn Columbus International Airport scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator. According to the developer, the airport includes accurate terminal, concourse and airport layouts, as well as individually animated jetways, accurate vegetation placement and weathered road surfaces. The interior of the passenger terminal is also modeled. General aviation pilots will be pleased to know that PacSim also includes accurate representations of the airport’s FBOs and NetJets headquarters on the northern edge of the airport.

John Glenn Columbus International Airport (KCMH) is a mid-sized airport in the Midwestern United States, located 6 miles (9.7 km) east of downtown Columbus, Ohio. With a single terminal and 34 gates, KCMH offers 148 nonstop flights daily to 31 airports with nine airlines. Named after Ohio native and astronaut John Glenn, KCMH served over 8 million passengers in 2023, making it the second-busiest airport in Ohio. The airport code “CMH” stands for “Columbus Municipal Hangar,” the airport’s original name.
