The list of chefs at the 2024 Austin Food and Wine Festival is here

The Austin Food & Wine Festival has announced its provisional chefs for 2024. The city’s largest food event includes three days of eating and drinking festivities taking place this fall from Friday, November 1 to Sunday, November 3 at Auditorium Shores in Bouldin Creek.

Particularly interesting during the main festival program are the fans of the popular restaurant television series The bear. Chef Courtney Storer, the show’s producer, will host a cooking demonstration where the panelists cook and chat in front of an audience. For the show, she is the one who trained the actors in cooking and food preparation and also prepared all of the food herself. (Her brother, Christopher Storer, created the show.) The Chicago-raised personal chef also runs the Los Angeles-based catering company Coco’s to Go-Go.

Newcomers to Austin Food & Wine’s lineup include New York-based modern Chinese restaurant RedFarm with its Austin location represented by chef Joe Ng, new modern Italian-American restaurant Casa Bianca with chef Joseph Zoccoli, and Austin ice cream parlor Amy’s. Downtown Austin’s W hotel will showcase bites from its upcoming restaurant renovation project Serenade, which describes itself as American-French-Texan, by chef Johnny Ray.

Otherwise, this year’s edition generally holds no major surprises. The only small change is that last year’s first VIP-only Made in Texas event – where participating chefs cook up signature Texas dishes – will be held at a new location. Instead of a different location in the Auditorium Shores, it will be held on the terrace of the Long Center.

Below are the tentative chef lineups for all Austin Food & Wine events. This includes the main cooking show and fire pits on the festival grounds, as well as the Made in Texas event. Plans are in place to announce additional chefs later. The entire festival is organized by Food Magazine. gastronomy and Austin-based event production company C3 (which is behind the Austin City Limits Music Festival, among other things).

Currently, two-day weekend passes are available for $270, day passes for $195, and VIP passes (which include the Made in Texas event) for $750. Tim Love’s regular barbecue event is already sold out.
