On an 80-acre estate in Bend, a glass-enclosed residence overlooks the pool, gazebo pizza oven and greenhouse against a scenic backdrop of the Cascade Mountains. Agent Jennifer Bowen of Coldwell Banker Bain calls the modern home and irrigated organic farmland “the crown jewel of Central Oregon.”

The asking price: $10,990,000.

The showpiece property at 62265 Dodds Road also features three off-grid guest houses, a shooting range, a workshop and a six-car garage with heated floors, an electric vehicle charging station and RV parking. Outdoor dining and recreational areas include an open-air kitchen, cantina and pool house.

Bowen told The Oregonian/OregonLive that the property, with pastures and ponds, is attractive to “people who appreciate quiet luxury and want complete privacy without sacrificing location.” She added that the 11,000 square feet of climate-controlled space is attractive to car and art collectors.

Global luxury real estate specialist Coldwell Banker said the sprawling 589-square-metre home, built in 2017, was carefully placed and fitted with large, low-emission windows that allow sunlight deep into the home, creating a calming connection to nature.

Inside, there are hardwood and concrete floors, a great room with a two-sided fireplace, two master suites, three additional bedrooms and four additional bathrooms.

The land, zoned for exclusive agricultural use (EFU), is bordered on two sides by Bureau of Land Management (BLM) managed land, providing privacy. “Exceptional and authentic; in a class of its own,” Bowen said.
