CTDI plans expansion at Rotterdam Corporate Park in Schenectady CountyThe Galesi Group announced that Communications Test Design, Inc. (CTDI) plans to lease a 18,580 square meter building in the Rotterdam Corporate Park. The project received approval from the Rotterdam Planning Commission last night.

CTDI is a global leader in engineering, repair and logistics solutions for the communications industry. CTDI’s customers include major telecommunications providers, cable service providers and OEMs worldwide. The company plans to create approximately 200 jobs at the new facility, its fourth location in Schenectady County. CTDI occupies three other buildings totaling over 350,000 square feet owned by the Galesi Group in the Glenville Business and Technology Park.

David Buicko, CEO of Galesi Group, said, “We are pleased with the Planning Board’s approval of this project, which brings a leading global technology company to Rotterdam Corporate Park. We thank CTDI for choosing Schenectady County after an extensive search, creating approximately 200 jobs in the process. We also thank Metroplex Chairman Ray Gillen, Peter Struzzi of Pyramid Brokerage, Rotterdam City Councilor Mollie Collins, City Council Member Teri Gallucci and City Planner Peter Comenzo for their support as we showed CTDI Building 17.”

CTDI considered buildings in three states before selecting Building 17 at Rotterdam Corporate Park. Located near the intersection of I-88, I-90 and Route 7, Rotterdam Corporate Park offers more than 400,000 square feet of space, making it one of the largest business parks in upstate New York.
