Get hungry for Austin Restaurant Weeks 2024

It’s time to whet your appetite, because Austin Restaurant Week is just around the corner.

From Friday, August 30th, to Sunday, September 15th, dozens of restaurants, bars and bakeries will offer prix fixe menus – $20 for lunch + brunch and $40-60 for dinner – and a portion of the proceeds will go to Central Texas Food Bank.

Get ready to eat – here are a few offers for you to check out.

Lunch

Cantina Chapulin | $20-$40 | Use your lunch break to try something unique, like Arroz Frito con Huitlacoche and Wagyu Carne Deshebrada Tacos. Chapulin Cantina also offers a dinner menu for $40.

The Dirdie Birdie | $20 | Enjoy a round of mini golf (included) at this Austin-style indoor course and choose between boneless chicken wings “Birdie Bites” or Bavarian pretzel sticks.

laurel | $30-$60 | Experience the Italian coast with a selection of antipasti like “Nonna’s Meatballs” and a main course like “Fungus Amungus” with roasted mushrooms and pesto. You can also order a $60 dinner menu in the evening.

Northern Italy (2nd Street location) | $20-$60 | You can stop by this downtown Italian restaurant for lunch or dinner—North Italia offers a $20, $40, and $60 menu.

Dinner

Bar Peached | $40 | Serving a mix of Asian comfort food and Texas flavors, Bar Peached serves three courses including japchae noodles, summer chicken, and a mango peach sundae.

Culinary dropout | $40 | Enjoy an appetizer, main course and dessert at this American gourmet haven, including pretzels with provolone fondue, spicy vegan curry and Mississippi mud pie.

The Popular | $40 | Guests can sample some of this Mexico City-based restaurant’s signature dishes, such as Queso Fundido, Chicken Mole Enchiladas, Churros with Dulce de Leche, and Agua Fresca with Prickly Pear and Pomegranate.

El Raval | $60 | This Spanish tapas bar offers a four-course meal (plus paella and dessert) with options like hamachi ceviche, Iberian ham + chicken meatballs, adobo calamari, and Basque cheesecake.

Happy Robot | $60 | This South Congress Avenue eatery serves four courses—here’s a sample order: hiramasa serrano, crispy pork belly, eight pieces of chef’s choice catch-of-the-day sashimi, and yuzu cake.

poetess | $60 | This Italian restaurant that compares food to poetry offers four courses for the price of one, so try the eggplant parmesan, grilled Caesar salad, braised beef shoulder risotto, followed by the goat cheese cake with pistachios and cherries.

Verdad – Real, modern Mexican food | $60 | Fill up on a delicious three-course meal with options like Mexican chicken noodle soup, cherry mole duck, and seis leches cake.

Cinful Sweets | $28 | If you have a sweet tooth, you can indulge in a chocolate marshmallow, a black forest ice cream cookie cake, and a tiramisu dessert bar, among others.

Restaurant Nomadé | $60 | Choose crudo, appetizer, main course and dessert from this renowned restaurant specializing in fine wood-fired cuisine.

Over 313 | Shopping Value | Try jalapeno poppas with spicy Sriracha honey, a vodka pizza made with Austin’s own Tito’s Handmade Vodka and a Pink Pony Club cocktail.
