One of the standout pieces in this auction is CryptoPunk #491 by Larva Labs.

Launched in 2017, CryptoPunks is considered one of the earliest and most influential NFT projects, with each of the 10,000 unique characters algorithmically generated and stored on the Ethereum blockchain.

CryptoPunk #491, a digital figure from this series, is currently up for auction. The estimate is between $70,000 and $100,000. At the time of writing, the bidding was at $48,000.

This auction follows previous high-profile sales of CryptoPunks, including the notable sale of CryptoPunk #7523, which fetched $11.8 million at a Sotheby’s auction in 2021.
