In the first year of the Jordan Love era, the Packers made a huge leap just halfway through the 2023 season.
They are ready to do it again in his second season as QB1 in Green Bay.
After starting 3-6 last season, the Packers finished 6-2, earned a 9-8 record and an NFC wild-card spot, and carried that momentum into the postseason.
The Packers defeated the Cowboys in the first round and nearly pulled off an even bigger win against the 49ers before losing 24-21 in a thrilling game.
Despite their performances in the second half and in the postseason, Love and Co. continue to be far outside the inner circle of Super Bowl contenders in the eyes of bookmakers.
The Packers have odds of +1900 (DraftKings Sportsbook) to win the 2025 Lombardi Trophy, giving NFL bettors a great opportunity to bet on this young team’s next big leap.
Green Bay added safety Xavier McKinney to bolster its pass coverage and running back Josh Jacobs as a younger replacement for Aaron Jones, but the biggest improvement is likely to come from the players already on the roster.
Take, for example, Love’s receiver team, which includes four talented wideouts in Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, Jayden Reed and Dontayvion Wicks, all of whom are 25 years old or younger.
Their offensive line is also one of the youngest in the NFL, leaving plenty of room for growth in 2024.

The defense also has a chance to finish in the top half of the league or better after signing McKinney and investing a ton of draft capital on that side of the ball.
And with one of the NFL’s top coaches, Matt LaFleur, on the bench, it wouldn’t be a big surprise if the Packers were the last team standing, even if it seems a bit early for this group.
The piece: The Green Bay Packers win the Super Bowl (+1900).
