Regional Restaurant Week begins before Alexandria Restaurant Week

ALEXANDRIA, VA — Ahead of Alexandria’s own Restaurant Week, the summer version of Metropolitan Washington Restaurant Week takes place Monday, featuring special menus at restaurants across the region.

Metropolitan Washington Summer Restaurant Week runs August 12-18. Participating restaurants offer lunch/brunch specials for $25/$35 or dinner specials for $40, $55 or $65. Select restaurants offer to-go options and wine or cocktail pairings during Restaurant Week.

Bastille French Restaurant offers a three-course meal for $35 per person, as well as a dinner menu for $40 or $55. Josephine French Brasserie offers a dinner menu for $55 per person. Cheesetique, which specializes in cheese, offers a two-course dinner for $27.50 or a three-course meal for $40. Clyde’s at the Mark Center, Rustico and Evening Star Cafe serve three courses for $40 per person. Laporta’s Restaurant offers several options to choose from – brunch or lunch for $25 and dinner for $40 or $65. Vermilion’s brunch menu is $25 per person, while dinner is priced at $50 per person.

Located south of Alexandria City, New Orleans’ Southern-inspired restaurant Milk and Honey offers a lunch menu for $35, while popular Italian Osteria Marzano serves a three-course dinner for $55.

Meanwhile, Alexandria Restaurant Week begins August 16 and runs through August 25. Participating restaurants will offer a multi-course dinner for one at a prix fixe of $27.50, $40 or $50. The $27.50 prix fixe dinner for one is a nod to Alexandria’s 275th anniversary.
