Walmart+ members get Burger King discount and free Whopper

Walmart is offering its Plus members a new deal.

The retail giant announced on Thursday “a unique partnership” with Burger King, under which Walmart+ members can receive 25% off digital orders from the fast-food restaurant every day, starting today.

Walmart said the “exclusive dining benefit for Walmart+ members” will “increase the value and convenience of the membership program and is designed to save members time and money and accommodate their busy lifestyles where grocery shopping, meal planning and cooking are not always feasible.”

“Given that most Americans eat at fast-food restaurants several times a week, this benefit provides a convenient, cost-effective solution to accommodate food preferences and busy schedules while still enjoying the legendary taste of Burger King,” Walmart said in a statement.

“The addition of a Burger King benefit to our Walmart+ membership portfolio is exciting,” Venessa Yates, senior vice president and general manager of Walmart+, said in a statement. “We always strive to offer benefits that are focused on our members and align with our commitment to providing undeniable value and convenience.”
