CAMC named “Best Employer” by Forbes Magazine – Real WV

CAMC Health System has been recognized by Forbes Magazine as one of America’s Best Employers for the sixth year in a row.

The announcement followed an independent survey of a large sample of over 160,000 employees at companies with at least 500 employees in the United States. The survey was open to companies in all industries and around 4.4 million employer reviews were analyzed.

“Being recognized as one of America’s Best Employers reinforces our reputation as a healthcare provider that offers an exceptional work environment and excellent employment opportunities,” said Glenn Crotty Jr., MD, president and CEO of CAMC and executive vice president of Vandalia Health. “Excellent care can only be achieved by creating and maintaining an excellent workplace.”

Market research firm Statista collected direct recommendations from employees as well as indirect recommendations from workers in each industry. The survey considered every aspect of an employee’s experience, such as working conditions, salary, growth potential and diversity. Of the thousands of companies eligible for this award, only a select few are recognized in each state.
