Flavor Flav pays the rent for a US Olympian.
The 65-year-old rap star – who is in Paris as the official hype man for the US women’s water polo team – has agreed to pay Veronica Fraley’s rent after she revealed her financial problems on social media.
Veronica, who is participating in the panel, wrote on X: “I’m competing in the Olympics TOMORROW and I can’t even pay my rent (sad emoji). My school only paid about 75 percent of my rent while they pay soccer players (who haven’t won anything yet (laughing emoji)) enough to buy new cars and houses (thumbs down emojis) (sic)”
In response, Flav quickly offered to pay Veronica’s rent.
He wrote: “I heard you, send me a DM and I will send you the payment TODAY so you don’t have to worry TOMORROW, and I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you tomorrow, LET’S GO (sic)”
And after making the payment, Flav announced that he planned to personally support Veronica.
The rap star said: “Man of the word,,, and I will try to come by tomorrow and support you personally,,, LMK what time (sic)”
Flav recently revealed that he is really enjoying the experience of competing in the Paris Olympics.
The music star told Entertainment Tonight: “Man, I feel like I’m living the greatest moment of my life right now. I feel great right now. It’s a wonderful experience that I’m living right now.”
“For the first time ever, I can attend the Olympics in person instead of just watching them on TV.”
Flav has always wanted to personally participate in the Olympic Games and is now finally fulfilling his lifelong dream.
He explained: “Words can’t even express how incredible it is right now. I’m living a dream come true.”
“I always dreamed of one day being able to attend the Olympics and watch them in person. And now God has given me the gift of being here and watching them.”
