JD Vance’s ‘medieval’ haircut shattered after embarrassing encounter with a donut shop

JD Vance is not to refute these strange allegations in the foreseeable future, if one takes his interaction with a donut shop employee as a benchmark, with his haircut also being scrutinized

The Republican candidate for vice president told the stranger working behind the counter that he was running for vice president, and it’s safe to say they couldn’t have cared if they had tried.

Vance went to a Georgia doughnut shop before his rally in Valdosta, Georgia, on Thursday.

The employee did not want to be filmed, but an incredibly awkward exchange ensued between the two while Vance ordered a batch of donuts.

“I’m JD Vance. I’m running for vice president,” Vance tells the donut shop employee.

The employee replied, “Okay.”

Vance continued, “We’re going to do two dozen. Just a random selection of things here.”

“Everything. Lots of frosting here. Sprinkles. Lots of cinnamon rolls. Just anything that makes sense,” Vance added.

Then more awkward small talk ensued as Vance tried to chat with the obviously uninterested workers.

When Vance asked how long the store had been open, the employee replied, “Four years.”

“About four years? OK,” Vance said. “Well, we picked this spot. I didn’t know if it had been here for 20 years or four. You never know.”

The awkwardness of the moment was quickly over with the credits of Veep for an additional comedy effect.

That wasn’t the only thing that caught people’s attention about the clip, as Vance’s hair, which appears to be cut pretty brutally short in the back, led to jokes that “even his hairdresser hates him.”

Someone else compared it to a “medieval punishment.”

Another joked: “There’s unfinished business up there.”

Since he was appointed Vice President of Donald Trump, Vance has come under scrutiny everywhere, from his embarrassing TikTok videos to his “strange” personality comments about it. Things didn’t get any better when Vance was criticized for asking for Swiss cheese at a Philadelphia cheesesteak place, reminiscent of a historic political scandal.
