The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 18, Episode 7 picks up where Episode 6 left off: Viewers are shown what girls’ trips are like.
Up in the mountains of Big Bear, Tamra Judge, Katie Ginella, Jennifer Pedranti and Alexis Bellino joked around and caught up on the latest news, while Heather Dubrow, Gina Kirschenheiter, Shannon Storms Beador and Emily Simpson relaxed in sunny La Quinta.
These trips were everything we hoped for—and more. The Big Bear crew, for example, were pretty frisky in matching animal onesies and suggested a cheeky new source of income for Jennifer. They even went into town for a few drinks! It’s understandable that Tamra’s vacation home looked a little messy the next morning.
The ladies at La Quinta kept it a little more buttoned up, but still fun. The next morning, they relaxed in eye patches and elegant pajama sets and prepared a sumptuous breakfast buffet that made our mouths water. (Those pineapple drinks looked too good to be true!)

Breakfast at La Quinta was surprisingly emotional. Shannon told the group about the ongoing stresses in her life and admitted that she was having a hard time dealing with the tension, especially because she felt estranged from her longtime best friend Tamra. Gina, Heather and Emily comforted her and assured Shannon that they had her back.
“We support you, and you will figure it out, and whatever you need, we will be here for you,” Gina said. At these words, Shannon’s eyes once again filled with tears because she felt “overwhelmed with love.”
“You are so kind,” Shannon said, looking her friends in the eyes. “I feel like I don’t deserve this and I’m so grateful.”
Afterwards, the ladies dried their tears and got dressed – some quicker than others – for a friendly game of pickleball. Gina and Emily, who had some conflicts before the trip, took their frustrations out on each other on the court. Gina initially seemed ready to storm off, but an unexpected impediment (she couldn’t get back into the house!) led to the two honestly settling their differences instead. Phew.
Up in Big Bear, the silly mood continued. Alexis’s over-information answers to simple questions kept the wives laughing, and later she gave Katie some heartfelt advice on how to find her way to a friendship with Heather.
All in all, the ladies of RHOC has proven that it’s never too late to host the pajama party of your dreams.
