She is delighted to finally be reunited with her husband, Freeman Thale Saxton, who passed away in 2016. She is also delighted to have a happy reunion with her father and mother, Ellis and Ruth Park. Her greatest wish as a young girl was to become a wife and mother as an adult. That wish came true, and she was not only a wife and mother, but one who embodied service and unconditional love. Susanne is survived by four children, Shelley (Jerry) Rampton, Gary (Shelly) Saxton, Annalee (Chris) Munsey, and Daniel (Shauna) Saxton. She has 16 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. After starting a family, Susanne worked as a data administrator for BSD Medical. She was a loyal and enthusiastic member of the LDS Church, having served a mission with her husband in the Canada Toronto East Mission and being the first mother of the Bridgeside Ward in Taylorsville. Susanne was a member of the Taylorsville 1st Ward for 54 years and served faithfully in various callings in the Auxiliary, Young Women, and Primary. As a member of the Activities Committee, she helped plan a reenactment of the Savior’s birth, life, and mission called “Back to Bethlehem.”

She loved life, her family and her dear friends. She was an excellent cook and cherished family gatherings where she enjoyed wonderful meals. She loved gardening, traveling, camping in her RV and cruising. She enjoyed studying U.S. history and the Constitution. She loved music and was a regular attendee at the Hale Theater. Her passion was preserving photos and stories of her ancestors. The most meaningful possessions she left to her children were her life story and her testimony of Jesus Christ.
