When we analyze our airport preferences, we rarely think about how well connected the hubs are.

And yet, choosing an airport with nonstop flights is particularly important if you want to get to a city as quickly and efficiently as possible. That’s why we’re paying special attention to a new study by aviation analytics platform Cirium, which analyzed the world’s best-connected airports based on the number of nonstop destinations they serve.

We are pleased to announce that our own Chicago O’Hare International Airport is the highest-ranking U.S. hub at No. 5 with 270 nonstop destinations. Topping the rankings is Istanbul Airport, followed by Frankfurt Airport, Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport and Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.
